Mark and Dana met on Facebook dating and spoke for the first time on 9/19/24. On 9/21/24, after non-stop talking on the phone, they agreed to meet up at this great new place in Tamaroa, Illinoi, called Alvis Backroad Bar and Grill, owned by Mark's best friend's son, Devin Alvis and wife Taylor.

When Dana arrived, she stayed outside and leaned against the hood of her car while she waited for Mark to hobble outside to meet her. He was on crutches from having a knee replacement surgery.

When Mark walked out the door to meet her, the sight of Dana resting against her car made Mark literally stumble, and he almost fell down to the ground! It was love at first sight! Dana knew right there and then that she wanted to be with the kind of man that she has that effect on. Mark was handsome, a gentleman, he was charming and he made Dana laugh until her sides hurt. He was perfect for her!

And although Mark was only interested in finding someone he could hang out with on occasion, he found himself to be immediately smitten by Dana's beauty and goofy personality.

It was the most amazing first date ever!
